Vienna Airport Terminal Guide — Arrivals, Departures & Meet-and-Greet

Vienna-Schwechat Airport (IATA: VIE) is Austria's largest airport, located about 18 km southeast of Vienna's city centre. Handling around 30 million passengers annually, it's an important European hub.
The airport has three terminals: Terminal 1 for short and medium-haul flights, Terminal 1A for low-cost carriers, and Terminal 3 for long-haul flights and Star Alliance partners. All terminals are connected and within walking distance.
On arrival, you'll pass through passport control (for non-EU citizens) and collect your luggage at the baggage carousel on the ground floor. From there, you walk directly into the arrivals hall with currency exchange, tourist information, and the meeting point for your transfer.
Where does your FDF Taxi driver wait? Our driver stands with a name sign in the arrivals hall right after the baggage exit. We track your flight in real time — if your flight is delayed, your driver adjusts automatically at no extra charge. 45 minutes of free waiting time are included.
For departures, we recommend arriving at least 2 hours before your flight (3 hours for long-haul or non-EU flights). Our driver drops you directly at the correct terminal — no searching for check-in.
Practical tips: The airport offers free Wi-Fi, luggage lockers (from €4/day), a pharmacy, a supermarket (Billa), and numerous restaurants and cafés. The VIP Lounge in Terminal 3 is also available to non-business-class passengers for a fee.
Our meet-and-greet service makes your arrival stress-free. After a long flight, you don't have to worry about anything — your driver takes over and brings you relaxed to your destination in Vienna or beyond.
